With a stunning engagement ring from Robbins Brothers in hand, Carlos was now ready to pop the question! We suggested the Santa Monica Pier. Not only would Gladys have no idea he would be propose there, the scenery made for a fun backdrop for his surprise proposal photographs! Paparazzi Proposals had one of our photographers hidden in the background snapping pictures of the couple as the big moment approached. As he dropped to one knee, his plan came together. He told Gladys how much she meant to him and asked if she would spend the rest of their lives together. We were able to photograph ever second of this magical moment. We weren’t done yet! With family members waiting nearby, we stuck around to photograph them celebrating the newly-engaged couple.
