Phill and Natalie both share a love for the water and coincidently, most of their greatest dates in the past have always involved water. While vacationing with friends in Dallas for a week, Phill chose a romantic and intimate boat ride as the perfect opportunity to propose to Natalie.
For Phill, the “love at first sight” thing wasn’t just a cliché, but exactly what happened. He had never met a woman that made him feel the way Natalie did, and when they first met, he made a vow to one day make her his wife. And we were thrilled to help him make good on that promise.
Their two best friends, Caleb and Maddie, dropped Phill and Natalie near the boat doc and went to watch Phill’s big moment from afar, shooting confetti and dropping rose petals from the bridge after Natalie said “yes!” Our photographer was more than happy to include the whole group during the newly engaged couple’s portrait session.
Phill loves to make people laugh, and his sense of humor happened to be right up Natalie’s alley. He says that as soon as he heard her laugh, he was hooked. And now he can listen to that sweet tune everyday of his life.
The ring was actually purchased a couple months before the proposal. Phill wanted to find the perfect diamond ring for his perfect fiancée.
